Meet Choco Nar—a new concept in chocolate. Choco Nar, is 100% artisan-made, minimally processed, chocolate created and founded by a group of local entrepreneurs. Its name is derived from the town where this chocolate is made—called "Naranjar." This small producer is dedicated to the production of bitter and sweet chocolate.
The concept of Choco Nar is to create chocolate without modifying its natural substances. They work to completely infuse the taste and aroma of natural cacao into the final product and the aroma and taste of the bar are proof of this concept. One of the founders, Patricia Gallegos, seeks new marketing opportunities for their brand, including markets where quality and excellence are well regarded.
Chocolate is bitter in essence, and the more bitter its taste, the healthier it is. People who are diabetic, hypertensive, can consume chocolate in its less processed form and according to Patricia, can provide some health benefits. This community-based manufacturing company is always looking to put a smile on the faces of its consumers—that's the biggest prize for any "craftsman", says Patricia.
